I recently found an old Architecture Australia magazine from 1994 - this ad caught my eye.
It reminded me how blindingly fast our computer power was back then - trying to run "Caddsman" at the time I think.
What a luxury to choose between 8 Mb or 16 Mb of RAM.
I wonder how Revit would run on one of those computers?
That $7,995 in 1994 is now $17,213..Ouch (Via inflation calculator)
ReplyDeleteMy 1st CAD machine was a 386 + math co-processor with 4 (count them) 4Mb of RAM and a 15 inch monitor. Cost $4500. Vendor asked why I needed so much RAM.
