But I changed one of the schedules to not itemize every instance and there it used the total area in my area column. It was purely accidental, but it works! Thank you for the help and inspiration!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14928455403020228918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2345350753849872264.post-91822699159622897322019-04-24T06:22:16.777+10:002019-04-24T06:22:16.777+10:00What is tripping me up is that your unknown is the...What is tripping me up is that your unknown is the percentage and your knowns are the total square footages. I need to take the grand total (3818, in your example) and divide it by a percentage factor that I input, to derive a gross square foot number.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14928455403020228918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2345350753849872264.post-35374792832227345322019-04-23T13:38:38.942+10:002019-04-23T13:38:38.942+10:00Witoyt knowing exactly what you want to do its har...Witoyt knowing exactly what you want to do its hard to be sure but you should be able to apply the same logic to do the reverse. I have a percentage factor (circulation), and I want to use it and the grand total of area(net SF) to come up with a gross SF number. I'm experimenting with creating out programming summary in Revit instead of Excel. This is very intriguing! In 2017 you no longer have to check the "include elements in Links" box to get Project Information to show up. They just made it more logical, and easier to find, no real change in functionality. The trick is that Project Info only shows when you tick the 'Include elements in links' checkbox - even if you have no links. Works in 2016 too. The main workaround is old (calc total of percentages).RevitCathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17421472010756742971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2345350753849872264.post-10360003155023502942017-01-24T20:17:25.690+11:002017-01-24T20:17:25.690+11:00Hi Tim

It seems to me that this part of the workaround only applies to Revit 2017, where the drop down list has been moved from "hiding at the bottom of the dialogue" to "prominently displayed at the top".
